The Ironbridge Gorge, park and ride service from Jiggers Bank car park, resumes this weekend (Saturday 22 July) just in time for the hugely popular brass band festival.

The £1 hop-on hop-off service will run every 15 minutes and is operated by Telford & Wrekin Council in partnership with operator Select.

Passengers can board the fully accessible service from any stop along the route which travels in a clockwise direction from the car park at the top of Jigger’s Bank towards Coalbrookdale, then onto the Gorge Visitor Centre, past the Iron Bridge, the old Police station on Waterloo Road, Jackfield Tile Museum, Coalport China Museum, Blists Hill Victorian Town, Madeley High Street and then back to Jiggers Bank.

The service will run every Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday from this weekend until Sunday, September 17.

A modified timetable will run this weekend only, with the service running an hour longer and also serving the Enginuity Museum in Coalbrookdale to cater for people attending the brass band festival.

The car park location is TF4 3XH and full details of the service are available here.
