Home to a number of local artisans, set in the heart of Ironbridge
Artisan’s at Fusion, is home to a number of amazing Artisan’s:
The Artisan’s at FUSION building was constructed during 2006 and opened in May 2007. It is adjacent to the Ironbridge Gorge Tile Museum on the footprint of the original building which was a foundry of non ferrous metals, hence the name ‘FUSION‘.
It was funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, Advantage West Midlands, Shropshire Partnership, European Regional Development Fund along with many individuals.
Due to the restrictions on buildings within the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site it was given special permission to be built to house creative artistan’s to manufacture, design and inspire by way of the courses they offer.
The Footprint Gallery is housing currently Elemental Arts by Angela Edwards-Sowdon. You can paint your own and view Angelas work.
A museum car park is adjacent to Artisan’s at FUSION and is free of charge for visitors.
